Tinyo, a small orange cat companion

We don’t count days. We count what the days changed.

Including the days you slipped. What breaks people isn’t the slip — it’s the “all for nothing” that comes right after it.

Why the counters keep failing.

  1. Relapsing is part of how change works.

The slip itself rarely makes anyone give up — the “it’s all for nothing” feeling does.

  2. But day counters design the slip into a disaster.

One bad moment erases every good one. On your worst day, the app has nothing left to offer but a zero.

  3. That’s why streaks break, and break again.

Tinyo counts different things: money saved, cigarettes skipped, a body quietly recovering. All of it stays, even after a slip.

Meet Tinyo.

A craving hitting, or a day you slipped Tinyo is right beside you

The craving hits · three minutes

Not just a record. A way out.

When the craving hits, it hands you tools, not a log

The change every day

That day stays on the calendar too.

Moods, reflections, and what actually happened are all kept. Scroll back and you will see yourself getting better, little by little.

Whenever doubt creeps in

One number is not progress.

A day count is not progress. Tinyo shows what those days changed: money saved, cigarettes skipped, cravings resisted, a body quietly recovering. All of it stays, even after a slip.

The question underneath it all

"How long until this gets easier?"

The recovery timeline answers in science-backed stages, from 20 minutes after your last cigarette to the weeks your lungs rebuild. You always know what is normal, and what comes next.

Privacy is not a setting. It is the default.

Tinyo has no account system. What you write stays where it belongs: with you.

No accounts, at all.

No sign-up, no login, no phone number to bind. There is no account to breach, so there is nothing to leak.

AI analysis is opt-in.

The only thing that ever uploads is the optional smart analysis. You decide whether it runs. Leave it off, and everything stays on your device.

The author’s adopted orange cat asleep on his lap

Why I built Tinyo.

I used to have a serious nicotine addiction. I tried to quit, and I failed every time. Then one day I adopted a stray orange cat. As on any other day, I had just finished a cigarette. He never asked when I would finally quit, and he never ignored me because I smoked. He simply jumped onto my lap and purred, as if nothing had happened.

In that moment I realized: the reason I had failed so many times was not that I lacked a cold counting tool, but that I lacked a companion who would encourage me and stay beside me.

So I turned my cat into an app — Tinyo. He is a smaller you: from a timid stray to confident and full of curiosity; from the fog of addiction to a new life with your head up. As you grow through quitting, Little Orange keeps getting better too.

That is my whole story. Thank you — let Tinyo grow up with you.
